The one that comes to mind at the moment.....from "Shine On"

"Now that you've punched out on me, you leave your legacy in my memory and burn the image of you rite into the backs of my eyes"

With that one its definitely the delivery. That song is truly one of my favorite on the album, so powerful. The first time I heard it I was just about in tears. Well done Ryan Montbleau Band.

There are way to many to pick from but if i had to pick one it would be
"Sit and watch the world go by in quiet contemplation of making this my one stop reason, reason to believe I can go on"

and my moms favorite is "She says the light that's there wont go nowhere no way."

These 2 lines from "Under the Gun" always give me chills:

"Here's my open letter to the words written by feathers dipped in the ink of several generations blood. Throwing fits through conduits to future generations. It's a fools game to rule in the practice of what's already done."

"Here's my open letter to the president of which whatever white brick palace in the mud. Killing, slashing underhand, high up laughing not to understand your fellow man, who walks in line and makes the most of his time..."

Can't pick just one...

A new world is as easy as a change in mind.
--Dancing in the Sunshine

Will you make it alone?  Will you discover yourself?  Will you give it away to someone else?  And will they understand, now that you understand that you are not a lost cause and you are more than what was...  So much love to give, so much baggage to carry it in now.
--Love and Love Lost

There's a friend that I once knew and before his days were through, he was dark and he was stormy but he could laugh at all the world.  I loved and took it all in stride and though I laughed on the outside, I'd give my life to take the loneliness that he had to endure...  How many times?  How many times did I get to see my friend alive and think nothing of it?
--How Many Times?

And I've been living my life
Longing for a City
Longing for something I can call my own
I ain't talking about luck and I do not ask for pity
I just want a bit of something when I'm feeling down
I've done my time
And now I find I want a city
--City

I swear if I didn't have to pay my bills,
I wouldn't have to be here...
You can kiss my assets goodbye.
You're a liability to my way of life.
I'm insured but I have no assurance
That what I do here makes any bit of difference....
Besides shuffling paper
--Shuffling Paper

And I know that time heals all things,
But I feel like time kills all things bad about you.
And could it really have been me who said so proudly,
That I'd be better off without you?
--Just Perfect

Clever:
I found some sapphire-crusted earrings in the shape of Mother Mary with the whole Constitution carved on the side.
--More and More and More

"No great angels, no big devils. Just another 100 levels to contend with."

"I could lay it all down, pick you up in a blaze of light.
Rolling over mountains, we could roll around all night
And everything would be alright
Once we get in the car and drive."

This one really is my favorite, I relate because travel has saved me so many times.

Hello All

Well first, and hopefully without too much of an introduction let me tell you that I'm 52 and was turned on to RMB by my son who's seen him at Vibes for the last three years.

About 6 months ago my son loaded about 200 albums on my zune which I listen to randomly with the 500 that I have of my own.  One day I heard '75 and Sunny'.  I think the hook was the line You’d better believe I’m living for the moment but my moment’s growing bigger by and by'.  This grabbed me the same way that Jimmy Buffets line 'I made enough money to buy Miami, but I pissed it away so fast' did 25 years ago.

Needless to say that I've now become familiar with a lot more of the bands tunes since then and they've earned a lot of my respect.

Any way, I can't wait to see the band, which I will for the first time on Dec 30th in Fairfield, CT.

"Hey Lady, You want a cocktail..."

A lot to choose from, but I'll go with something simple:

That's very nice Jojo.  Cheers!

I think there are a couple Montlove stories, right?

Mike (Mike D., Trailer D. - former Bleau Crew head honcho) and I are a Montlove story...pretty much off of these boards (well, the old EZboard. Man, I'd love to see those old threads). Vee introduced us at Hennessy's in Boston in 2005 and the rest, as they say, is history. We're married and have an 11 week-old daughter.  Love

I would also like to say that Miss Hippie and I have a Montlove story ;-)  Peace Out Love you, sista.

Oh, and my favorite lyric has been and always will be "sadness and pleasure so close together I can't seem to tell the difference. Better take it all,  I guess" from Variety.

Rollin'  1??? Um no can do....

My ####1.."But I still wanna be everything.. have you ever wanted to be everything? Sometimes the dreaming gets so overwhelming... so many places so many places."

"I wanna run up every mt. I wanna wade thru every ocean. I wanna gaze upon these fields from clouds above. I wanna Start off each day swimmin.. Meet me 18 thousand women. Don't I wanna fool around and in the finish i wanna fall in love. Dont I wanna dance all night to a new school rag... take my tune and carry it.. spin me round spin me round sweet Chariot swing low."

"Drive me into the city where the crazies come out at night and i'll be one of them, I'll be one of them."

"Oh Im gone, I'm strange I'm a human parade... I strain to remember it all and i know what i can handle.. but I'm towing the line."

"I run so excited all the time. Sometimes I fall.. but the more I look at you the less I need to understand. Night after night after night.. they tell me there all big mountains out there.. its all we have and all we know.. a lil bit more pressure a little bit more time. We might make a mountain of our own..... outta this grain of sand"
